CHICKPEA PANCAKES WITH ONION SALAD
Chickpea patties with onion salad
For 4 people Preparation time 30 minutes
Ingredients:
For pancakes
- 250g Crispins mixture of chickpea patties
- 500ml milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed cumin
For onion salad
- 220 g onion
- 150 g bacon
- 100 g leeks
- 50 g lard
- Salt, sugar, vinegar
Let´s show you how:
In heated milk, beat the mixture into chickpea patties together with one egg pressed with garlic and a little ground or crushed cumin. Let the resulting thin dough stand for a while. And then bake even pancakes out of it on a little lard or oil. Cut the onion into marigolds or circles, bacon into strips and leeks into fine strips. First fry the onion in lard, then add the bacon and finally, when the bacon is toasted and the lightly fried onion, add the leeks. Then just sweeten the mixture a little, or salt and spray with vinegar. Mix and serve with baked pancakes.
